Myself and two others were charged with drug possession with intent to sell, and each person arrested was facing over 10 years in Federal prison.  We contacted over 30 lawyers in the Las Vegas area and all gave us no hope and told us to just accept the plea.  We reached out to criminal lawyer, Michael Grahn, who reviewed the charges and wrote the argument to the Federal court judge claiming several errors made by the Las Vegas police in the request for a search warrant.  It is rare that a federal judge wants to review possible malfeasance by police, so Michael knew that if his argument was to be heard, he had his work cut out for him.

Michael demonstrated superb litigation skills in preparing a legal case by providing appropriate case law and expert testimony, speaking professionally in cross examination to elicit the truth from the federal prosecutors’ witnesses, and giving a 50-minute oral summation convincingly arguing all points raised by the defense.

As a result, our case was dismissed by the federal prosecutor.

More importantly, Michael is an empathetic counselor who truly cares for his clients.  He takes a personal interest in them to check on their emotional well-being and provide them with answers and explanations.  Leading up to the hearing and during the hearing, he called to keep me timely informed of what he was doing on my case and why.  He worked diligently under strict timelines imposed by the court and still managed to maintain his composure, professional demeanor, and in the end earned the court’s respect.  I am forever grateful to Michael Grahn.
