The Economist On Prosecutors In The US

Check out the Economist’s take on prosecutors and their arguably detrimental role in today’s criminal justice system in the United States.  As Robert Jackson, the US Attorney General put it in 1940: “While the prosecutor at his best is one of the most beneficent forces in our society, when he acts with malice or other base motives, he is one of the worst.”
